Every moment of our lives, we are shedding life, time that we will never regain, time, if spent wisely, and courageously, lead to a life worth remembering. It is better to have a life of courage, rather than one of complacency, and slow death. That which pulls away from a fulfilling life.

Training motivation is sparked from two factors, the fear of loss, and the potential for gain.
From an philosophical and evolutionary view, we are the most powerful adaptation machines on the planet, capable of changing with our environment and thriving. However, we are made to move, build for adversity, and physical challenge. Without the physical eustress of nature we are left to self imposed exercise stress.
In short - You are either getting stronger, or you are getting weaker.

The greatest battles we will fight, are found inside the shadows of our minds. For all is one, and one is all. We are not separate from the whole of the cosmos, all our thoughts and our actions ripple in eternity, and intimately impact the state of the collective unconscious. For a human to turn and face the evil part of him or herself, and to tame the inner hungers, is a silent victory that will have far greater reach then a bloodied blade would ever cut.
