🚨 Scam alert! 🚨
Cybercriminals can find user IDs and passwords from breaches of other websites or accounts. If you’ve used these passwords for your CRA account, they could access it and make changes.
They then use a technique called “email bombing” to flood your inbox with unwanted emails, burying important emails such as notifications of changes to your account.
Make sure you:
❎ don’t click on any links or reply to any of the unwanted emails
âś… Sign into your CRA account to check if you have any mail
âś… Use strong, unique passwords and update them regularly
