Andy and Barb McCaffrey fire restoration continues!
GM Mechanical and Adam team did slam dunk on the electrical!

Nathan Vascotto and his team from Wiarton did an outstanding job on the rough in plumbing, new hot water tank and insulation.

Bumstead Plumbing and Heating will be installing the new furnace and duct work over the next two weeks.

March the drywall install begins....stay tuned

These trades are all suffered hardship during COVID-19 and still been able to donate time and materials to this great cause.

These businesses are true hero's during the pandemic... thank you, thank you, thank you....

ServiceMaster Restore Grey Bruce has finished and passed inspection! We are looking for plumbing and electrical companies/trades that can assist these beautiful folks to complete rough in. As many of you know Mr. and Mrs. McCaffrey lost their home to a fire in August and unfortunately their insurance lapsed and with no insurance.

Please contact us if you can spare materials or labour to help us in the next steps of helping them get back in their home!

Good morning Team Andy and Barb!
Thank you for all your shares and kind comments.
As we can only have 100 volunteers we ask you RSVP which days you can be to help Andy and Barb. Please provide your name as we will have a sign in sheet, disclaimer for liability and covid-19 questionnaire that every volunteer must sign before they start helping.
Contractors and anyone volunteering please bring a shovel, garbage pails, 5 gallon pails with handles, hard hats and wheel barrow. Anyone that can provide a dump trailer, cube van, or dump truck will make trips to Millers landfill site in Owen Sound. All landfill will go on ServiceMaster Restore account so no cost to anyone. Remember if you have a dump trailer or dump truck you must wear a safety vest and hard hat to be allowed in the site.
Our goal is clean up the back part of the house/garage that is knocked down and remove all the drywall, insulation, etc. back to the studs so we can put them back in a newly renovated home. There will be doors, trims, contents we are saving per Barb and Andy request.

OK Grey Bruce Andy and Barb McCaffrey need your help. Their home had a fire and they have no insurance.
We need people for physical labour to remove smoke damage contents and building materials July 22nd and 23rd.
We will meet at 8am at their house 848 8th Ave East Owen Sound. Please make sure you have work boots and Work gloves. ServiceMaster restore will provide masks. Remember this is a volunteer situation as we are not charging Andy or Barb anything to help them get them back in their home by Christmas. Please share this post as we like to have at least 10 people to help.

On a positive note.
We are delivering 9000 mask and 200 bottles of hand disinfected to senior homes today.
Had a great conversation with Bill Walker this morning and is working day and night for all business and our community.

On a sad note under section 1 of the charter the police can enforce whatever in these unbelievable times. Car wash will stay closed until further clarification is provided in essential services.
