Research has shown that the feelings, attitudes, and conversations parents have about their own appearance, weight, body shape, and dieting, can strongly influence their child’s feelings about their own body and food.

👉️It is very likely that your relationship with food and your body was heavily influenced by your parents - comments they made, the way they viewed their own body, the household rules around food, etc.

This influence is even more strong when it comes to the same s*x parent.

It is why I am so excited for my upcoming workshop with that is focused on ✨️Breaking Generational Dieting Cycles & Food Shame!✨️

Join us for a discussion centered around mothers and daughters and the food shame that often gets passed down between generations. We will work through both perspectives to both get clear on what our role is as mother/daughter, what we are passing down to the next generation, with strategies to heal from what was passed down to us.

It is happening on Tuesday April 8th at 6pm EST. There is a sliding scale drop-in to attend!

This is one workshop that you do not want to miss!

“Good” vs. “Bad” food — we’ve all heard it.

Maybe it started as a casual comment or something you read online, but suddenly, every bite feels like a test.

You try to be “good” around food, but the cravings grow louder. Then guilt and shame creep in. The cycle repeats 🔄

That’s exactly how one of my clients felt — stuck in the spiral, unsure how to break free. Together, we explored where those “food rules” came from, uncovered what she truly wanted her relationship with food to look and feel like, and built tools that brought her closer to ease and freedom instead of guilt and restriction.

Now? She no longer second-guesses every bite. Food feels neutral, nourishing, and even joyful again. 🤍

And the best part? That kind of freedom is possible for you too. 🙌🏻
• All food has a place.
• Your worth isn’t measured by what’s on your plate.
• You deserve freedom — from rules, guilt, and restriction.

Ready to break free from the “good” vs. “bad” food trap?
👉🏻 DM me the word FREEDOM and let’s chat about how to leave diet culture behind and build a peaceful relationship with food.

You don’t have to figure it out alone. 🫶🏻

From stuck in ‘food noise’ ➡️ Finding peace and freedom!

This client came to me feeling overwhelmed—constantly battling bingeing and intrusive food thoughts. She wanted relief but wasn’t sure how to quiet the noise or move forward in a way that actually felt sustainable.

Can you relate?

That struggle can feel isolating, but I want you to know that you’re not alone in this and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Throughout our time together, she began making small powerful shifts:
✨ Learning to respond to food thoughts with self-compassion instead of judgment
✨ Exploring new strategies to reduce bingeing without guilt or restriction
✨ Reframing negative body image moments with kindness and curiosity

With each step, she built a foundation of trust with herself—one that allowed her to move beyond the food rules and the noise. And now? She’s walking away with a sense of peace, confidence, and the tools to continue on her path.

If you see yourself in her story, know that this kind of transformation is possible for you too. 🫶🏻

I’m currently accepting clients into The Recovery Portal—a space designed for the woman ready to break free from the cycle and reclaim her life.🙌🏻

✨From Eating Disorder —> Recovery✨

This client was struggling to find support that was tailored to her lived experiences and aligned with HER version of recovery. She knew she needed help but didn’t know where to turn.

Have you ever felt like you’re looking for help in all the “right” places but your voice isn’t being heard??

She didn’t know how to move into recovery and the life she wanted to live without her eating disorder, and when a lot of my clients begin coaching, they can relate to this experience. So, I share this so you can start to see the moving pieces involved in creating true freedom for yourself outside of your past identity with ED.

Throughout our time working together, she saw all of the small changes beginning to add up!!

• she began to look at her past experiences with gentleness & compassion.
• she learned to identify and separate the ED voice from her true self.
• she took a look at her thoughts around food and body image and challenged them.
• she started to believe that recovery could maybe be possible for her after all.

It’s all these little steps (and more!) that she took that built the foundation for her recovery and freedom from ED!

And she became an entirely new woman who didn’t identify as someone with an ED but was well on her way with recovery and a new found sense of self-worth!

If you see yourself in her story, know that it’s possible for you to also experience the life and freedom you’ve been waiting for!

I have a special new program launching next week that brings together recovery and community 💖

Recovery requires you to step outside the comfort zone that’s been created by the eating disorder.

It’s scary and overwhelming to step into the unknown AND when you have support from a coach, therapist, dietician, family or friends, etc. You’re no longer navigating the wild terrain alone. You have people on your side to support you as you navigate the forest.

Recovery happens in community 🤍

Let this be your reminder as we head into the end of 2024 and enter into 2025.

• Your body is not a problem to be solved
• Your worth is not defined by a number on the scale
• Your value is not determined by the number of steps you take in a day

You, yes YOU are so much more 🤍

After losing my Mom 7 years ago, the holidays are always bittersweet. Something I try to do to connect with my Mom and keep her presence close is bake a favourite recipe and watch some home videos.

Know if you’re navigating recovery and the loss of a loved one this holiday season, you aren’t alone in it. I’m right here with you 💜

I would love to hear a favourite tradition or memory you have with your loved one. Comment below so I can hold space for them with you!
