Amazing that you can borrow a life jacket if needed! Kudos to Killbear!

Looking to paddle along Killbear’s rugged shoreline? Perhaps you’re planning a fishing trip in Blind Bay? Be sure to follow these life jacket and PFD safety tips next time you’re out exploring Killbear’s waters:

🛶 Ensure your life jacket is suitable to support the wearer
🛶 Check all snaps, belts, and zippers are in good condition before use
🛶 Bring a whistle to attach to your flotation device
🛶 Choose brightly coloured life jackets and PFDs that can easily be seen in the water

If you don’t have a life jacket of your own, you can stop by one of our gate offices to borrow one free of charge!
