This is a contract position and only applies to individuals who meet the minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom as per the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”

The Port Hope Area Initiative represents the Government of Canada’s commitment to the cleanup and safe, local, long-term management of historic low-level radioactive waste in two southern Ontario municipalities – Port Hope and Clarington.

RadSafe Canada is looking for experienced radiation protection professionals for work throughout Canada.

Successful completion of the Group 1 Radiation Protection exam is required. If you have or are approaching 3 years of fully qualified radiation protection experience from the nuclear power, decommissioning, or nuclear research sectors, please reach out for training information and test dates.

In addition to Radiation Protection Technicians, Radiation Surveyors and Health Physics Surveyors we are also looking for Health Physicists with at least 3 years of qualified HP experience and several years of radiation protection field experience.
