At the ends of our vineyard rows, roses bloom alongside the vines.

Historically, roses were planted in vineyards as an early indicator of pests and disease, often showing signs before the vines themselves. Today, they remain a beautiful reminder that healthy vineyards thrive as living ecosystems, shaped not just by the grapes, but by biodiversity, pollinators, beneficial insects, and the landscape surrounding them.

You’ll also find some specialty roses tucked into our tasting room's secret garden, thanks to our ex-flower farmer winemaker.

Did you know we always have an assortment of market style food available in our tasting room?

We invite you to pick up a basket, browse our curated selection of local and Canadian made items, and create a custom picnic for your table.

Tinned seafood (mussels, oysters, sardines, paté), cheeses, meats, jams and preserves, nuts and fruits, vegan options, and more.

When dining in, we offer cutting boards, cutlery, plates, everything you need to enjoy a picnic with your wine. We also offer all of our market items to-go.

We're open Tuesdays through Sundays, 12-5pm. Sip, snack, and stay for a while, or pick up a chilled bottle and take a picnic to go.

There are three things missing from this photo: Wine, waffles, and you. Let's fix that this Sunday.

Island Waffles will be popping up at Sea Star every Sunday this summer, starting this weekend, Sunday June 7th. Sweet or savory, mini or full size, we'll have waffles for everyone, and a fresh menu every week.

The vines are blooming.

This is Maréchal Foch, in our lower vineyard. Over the last five years, this part of the property had been largely abandoned to the deer, but the vines are already making a promising recovery. Just takes a little bit of attention and protection. And love, of course.

Beginning this Tuesday, June 2nd, we will be open Tuesdays through Sundays from 12pm to 5pm.

More time for patio afternoons, wine flights, and bottles shared with friends.

In July and August, our tasting room will be open all seven days of the week. There's always a good time for Sea Star, and now there are even more opportunities to find one.
