A little more recognition for BC w**e — and for our Estate Riesling.

W**es of British Columbia recently highlighted Upper Bench in their latest Taste & Terroir blog, celebrating the results of the 2026 W**eAlign National W**e Awards of Canada.

With BC w**eries taking home an impressive 640 medals, including 100 Gold and Platinum medals, the results are a wonderful reminder of the quality, diversity and character being produced right here in BC w**e country.

We’re especially proud to see our Estate Riesling among the Gold medal winners.

A great bottle of BC w**e is never far away. 💛

The Oven is OPEN today, and there’s plenty to tempt you at Upper Bench!

Dig into handmade Neapolitan-style pizza, topped with Upper Bench cheese, then baked to perfection in our custom-made Forno Bravo oven.

Add an Upper Bench cheese plate or one of our irresistible baked cheese dishes, made with cheese handcrafted right here in our on-site creamery.

And, of course, pair it all with a glass (or bottle 😉) of our award-winning w**es.

The Alberta Beverage Awards are a blind tasting competition produced by Culinaire Magazine, with w**es, beers and spirits evaluated by panels of Alberta beverage experts.

We’re incredibly proud of these two w**es — and of the people behind them.

For the first time ever, we have two Rosés to choose from, but not for long...

Our Estate Rosé, 100% Zweigelt grown right behind the tasting room, opens with strawberry, pomegranate, violet, and a hint of cherry marshmallow, then unfolds into ruby grapefruit, watermelon, and blood orange with bright acidity and a clean, dry finish. Grown, crafted, and bottled on the estate — vibrant and full of Bench energy. This one is almost sold out!

Our Rosé 2025 is brilliant pale pink, with pineapple, strawberry, apricot, and white blossom on the nose, and fresh, tart flavours of nectarine, peach, clementine, cotton candy, and kiwi. Provençal in style, our Rosé is dry, elegant and fruit-forward.

Happy Pinot Noir Day! If you ever need an excuse to pour a glass on a random Tuesday, this is it.

Medium-bodied with bright red fruit, our Pinot Noir was made from grapes sourced entirely from the Naramata Bench.

Traditionally fermented and cellared in older, neutral French Oak, this classic Pinot is the perfect pairing for our Okanagan Sun Cheese.

Bree, a member of our Upper Bench family, lives in Summerland where she also runs a hobby farm Udder Chaos Acres.

With the current fires affecting the area, we’re helping her out by selling her free-range eggs at the w**ery.
