🍷 JoieFarm is heading to Vancouver!

We’re excited to be joining fellow BC w**eries at Swirl Around BC W**e Expo this Thursday, October 22, hosted by W**e Growers BC!

This annual event brings together some of the industry’s best and brightest - w**e buyers, sommeliers, educators, media and other w**e-loving professionals - for a day of tasting, learning and celebrating the incredible diversity of w**es being produced right here in British Columbia.

We’re looking forward to pouring some JoieFarm favourites, sharing a little Naramata Bench magic, catching up with industry friends and making a few new connections along the way.

The Hot Dog Lounge may be closed for the season, but there’s still plenty happening here at JoieFarm!

Our Tasting Room is open daily from 12–5 PM, and we’re settling into the slower pace of fall on the Naramata Bench. 🍂🍷

It’s a lovely time of year to stop by, taste what’s new, revisit a few old favourites and find those perfect bottles for cozy fall dinners, gatherings with friends or simply enjoying at home.

Come spend a little time with us. The w**es are pouring and we’d love to see you!

Last call for hot dogs! 🌭🍷

Monday, October 12 is the final day of the season for the JoieFarm Hot Dog Lounge and if that isn’t a good reason to spend part of your Thanksgiving Monday with us, we don’t know what is.

Come by for one last hot dog (or two), a glass of Joie and a little time on the farm before we officially close the Lounge for the season.

It’s been another very fun season of hot dogs, w**e and good times on the lawn, and we’re so grateful to everyone who joined us along the way.

One more round? We think so. 🌭🥂

Thanksgiving dinner has a lot going on. Your w**e should be able to keep up. 🍂🥂

Our En Famille Gewürztraminer is made entirely from our two-acre home block here at JoieFarm and is delicately off-dry, with beautiful layers of citrus, florals and exotic spice.

Rose petal, orange blossom and grapefruit lead into juicy lychee and ripe cantaloupe, with a little warm cinnamon and dried mandarin peel on the finish.

Lush and aromatic, but with enough bright acidity to keep everything fresh.
Which also happens to make it a pretty excellent Thanksgiving w**e.

Turkey, stuffing, roasted squash, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce - JoieFarm En Famille Gewürztraminer has the fruit, spice and acidity to happily make its way around the whole table.

Chill it down, pull the cork and pass it around. Thanksgiving pairing: sorted. 🦃🍷

A pretty special guest at JoieFarm last week. 🍷

We had the pleasure of welcoming Christopher Waters to the farm for a harvest lunch during his visit to the Okanagan with W**e Growers BC. W**es of British Columbia.

Chris is the w**e and spirits columnist for The Globe and Mail, a longtime w**e educator and an internationally recognized w**e judge, someone who has spent more than 25 years tasting, writing about and championing Canadian w**e.

It was an honour to have him at our table, sharing JoieFarm w**es, good food and plenty of conversation during one of our favourite times of year.

Thanks for spending a little bit of harvest with us, Christopher Waters and to W**e Growers BC. W**es of British Columbia for bringing Chris back to BC w**e country.
