Two weekends ago, we had the best time hosting the crew from Freedom Bike Shop and Specialized for an epic e-mountain bike demo day right here at the vineyard. đŸš”â€â™‚ïžđŸ·

There is nothing quite like combining local trails, great people, and the perfect post-ride pour. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to ride and hang out with us! If you’re out hitting the Penticton trails this weekend, come make us your cool-down spot. đŸ„‚

Taking a moment to appreciate Kat and all the real, hands-on work she puts into the vines! 🌿

Things are greening up so fast here in the Okanagan Valley, and she is always out in the dirt making sure this year’s fruit gets exactly what it needs. It takes a lot of heart to manage the canopy, and we are so lucky to have her lead our Team.

Come up to the tasting room this weekend, grab a glass, and look out over the vineyard she helps keep so beautiful! We are pouring Friday through Sunday, 12pm to 5pm.

Those aren’t grapes yet. đŸŒ±

Right now out on the Naramata Bench, the vines are putting all their energy into a massive growth push. What you’re looking at are inflorescences—tightly packed flower clusters emerging on the new green shoots.

Before these can even think about becoming the 2026 vintage, they have to bloom. Over the next few weeks, as the spring weather warms up, each of those tiny green nodules will open into a microscopic flower. If the weather cooperates and pollination goes well (a phase we call fruit set), then they become grapes.

Right now, the focus in the vineyard is all about canopy management—making sure these clusters get the exact right amount of sunlight and airflow to thrive. Everything we do out here right now sets the stage for what ends up in the cellar this fall.

Meet the newest addition to the Origin crew: Asher. đŸŸ

Daiya and Blake recently adopted this 2.5-year-old rescue, and he’s got enough energy to power the entire Naramata Bench. In fact, he gave it a try this past long weekend, pulling a full-sprint solo tour all the way over to Hillside—officially earning him the well-deserved nickname “Asher Dasher.”

He’s safely back, currently grounded (as pictured), and pulling greeter duty at the tasting room this weekend. Come by to give him some pets, keep him out of trouble, and taste through our newly released Spring lineup. We’ve got the new GewĂŒrztraminer, RosĂ©, and Viognier open,

and wearing our new labels. đŸ€

The same Okanagan landscape that shapes our wine inspires her craft.

This long weekend, we are sharing the tasting room with Mayu, the designer behind Nerines Accessories. Originally from Osaka and now creating here in the valley, Mayu handcrafts delicate, thoughtful jewelry inspired by the exact environment that surrounds us—the lake mist, the mountains, and the local vines.

Every piece features handpicked freshwater pearls and is designed with an elegance that reflects the natural beauty of the Bench.

Our spring lineup is chilled, and Mayu’s collection is on display. Stop in, grab a glass, and see the details for yourself. đŸŒžđŸ„‚

Crack the seal, the spring lineup is here. đŸ„‚

After an incredible weekend on the lawn sharing small eats and sunshine with the community, we are keeping the momentum going. Kat has officially signed off on the new vintage, and our 2025 GewĂŒrztraminer, 2025 RosĂ©, and 2025 Viognier are now available.

These three releases are bright, crisp, and intentionally crafted to reflect the exact soil they were grown in on the Naramata Bench. This is where pedology meets the pour—honest wine, zero fluff, and ready for your glass.

Tap the link in our bio to secure your bottles, or come see us in the tasting room this weekend to experience the first pour.

Getting a vintage into the bottle is an all-hands-on-deck operation.

We’ve been running the line non-stop to get the cellar stocked for the May long weekend. There are no shortcuts to this part of the process—just our team making sure the wine makes it safely from the tank to your glass.

It takes the whole house to pull this off. Daiya is keeping the whole operation running smoothly, Kat is getting the vintage safely into the bottles, and Kay is jumping in wherever needed on the line right next to her. We also have Brandon to thank for doing the heavy lifting and keeping the glass moving—though if you ask him, his official title is ‘Quality Control.’ Even Rosie is on the clock making sure no drops hit the floor.

Just honest, heads-down work. You’ll want to secure a few of these for your patio.
