Quastuco Silviculture Ltd. Our name stands for Quality Student Company. QSL has a strategy statement; ‘Quality in every step’. We plant approximately 3.0-3.5 million seedlings per year.

Not only quality in trees planted, but also quality in every step of our operations. With this statement we can be safe, productive and profitable. When all of our systems are in place, you as the planter will do well. We have had three main clients over the past 30 years; they are Weyerhaeuser Company, Gorman Bros Lumber Ltd. and the Lower Similkameen Indian Band. Our operating area extends from

the 49th parallel to just north of Kelowna and from Princeton to Penticton. Our strategy statement is ‘Quality in every step’ and our safety strategy is ‘Nothing we do is worth getting hurt over’. We take these two statements seriously.

Quastuco Silviculture Ltd. is recruiting for our 2022 season. Our contracts are direct award or under long term contracts with Weyerhaeuser, Gorman Brothers, and LSIB all based out of Penticton B.C.. As a result, our prices are very competitive, and your accommodation cost are covered! We have 2.17 million spring trees and 611,000 summer trees. In the Okanagan, you will have access to great outdoor activities on your days off. Including climbing, mountain biking and great beaches. QSL will be implementing a vaccine mandate for the safety of our employees, clients, vendors, Indigenous communities, and community members.

Tree Pricing: Vacation and Holiday pay are paid on top of the quoted per tree price.

Prepped blocks – Minimum of .15/tree

Raw blocks– Minimum of .18/tree

Fill blocks – Minimum of .22/tree

We are looking for a mix of rookie and veteran planters who take pride in working for a family run company in one of the nicest cities in B.C.. The ideal planter is focused on safety and quality for our customers.
