There is a saying we have always believed in: a rising tide lifts all ships. Right now, that means lifting one another up.
If you have been displaced and need somewhere to spend some time, charge your phone, sit with others or simply have somewhere to be, our doors are open to you. No purchase is necessary. Please just come in.
Complimentary beverages for evacuees: coffee, tea or Peak Beverage Co. Lemonade - a Summerland business that has also been affected by the wildfires.
Restaurant support for evacuees: 20% off all food items from our restaurant menu.
With Critteraid currently displaced by the Summerland wildfire, we want to do a little more. For the time being, 100% of proceeds from every Pooches of Poplar Grove calendar sold will be donated directly to Critteraid. That means the full $15 from every calendar will go toward supporting the sanctuary during their displacement, helping care for the animals and, when it is safe to return, helping Critteraid get back on its feet.If you’d like to support them alongside us, calendars are available online and at the winery.
The Okanagan is more than where we grow grapes and make wine. It’s our home.
Our neighbours, farmers, fellow business owners and the people who make up this community mean the world to us. These are uncertain and incredibly stressful days, and we want to continue doing what this community has always done so well: looking after one another.
