We make hand-crafted, sustainable wines with artistry and passion that capture the soul of Naramata - the personality, character, culture and fruit of ‘the Bench’. Tightrope Winery is a small, family-run, sustainable winery on the Naramata Bench. A true labour of love for owners Graham (viticulturist) and Lyndsay O’Rourke (winemaker). We only use Naramata Bench grapes to make hand-crafted wines wi

th artistry and passion. Our wines capture the soul of Naramata - the personality, character, culture and fruit of ‘the Bench’. We consider ourselves stewards of the land and take a wholly sustainable approach from grape to glass. We choose this for the good of the wine, the land and those who work it, and the generations to come. From vineyard to glass, there’s balance at every step; between art and science, education and experience, nature and nurture, work and play, husband and wife. Our Wine Shop is open Monday - Friday for purchases. Tastings require a reservation that can be booked through the website.

Join us for the Best of the Bench June 11th @ Bench 1775 Winery. Hosted by the Naramata Bench Wineries Association, it’s an evening that promises great wines, good company, and stunning views. Discover our top 12 wines, declared the “Best of the Bench” for 2026 and have the chance to choose your favourite. You’ll explore a diverse selection of wines from over 25 wineries along the Naramata Bench while mingling with winemakers and winery owners. The evening will be complemented by Bench 1775’s tapas and canapes.
