Does UV light remove bacteria and germs from your water? 🤔

Yes! UV disinfection uses ultraviolet light to inactivate microorganisms as water passes through a UV system. There are no treatment chemicals added to the water, just UV light doing its job.

UV can be particularly useful for homes that rely on rural, well, or lake water, where water disinfection may be an important part of the treatment process. Curious whether UV makes sense for your home? The Water Depot team can analyze your water and explore your treatment options. Reach out today!

How many signs of hard water can you spot in your home? 📝

Hard water can show up as:
💧 White scale around faucets and showerheads
💧 Spots on your dishes and glassware
💧 Soap that doesn’t lather easily
💧 Stubborn buildup around your sink and tub

A FREE water test from Water Depot can help you understand what’s in your home’s water and how best to treat it.

MYTH: All Ontario water is basically the same. 💧

FACT: Water can vary from one community to the next and even from one home to another.

Municipal and well water can differ in hardness, iron, pH, and total dissolved solids, so the water in your home can be very different from the water just a few towns over. That’s why at Water Depot, we start with a detailed look at the water in your home. 🏡

How many bottles could you keep out of the landfill? ♻️

At Water Depot refill stations, you can refill your water containers and keep them in use, helping reduce plastic waste one trip at a time. 🌱

Make refills part of your routine! A simple switch that can help reduce waste over time. Find your nearest Water Depot location at waterdepot.com/locations/.

Your home’s water can look perfectly clear, but have you ever wondered what’s actually in it? 💧

Mineral hardness, iron content, total dissolved solids, and pH levels can all affect how your home’s water tastes, smells, and feels. And because every home’s water is different in Ontario, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to treating it.

The experts at the Water Depot can complete a FREE water test and help you better understand what’s in your home’s water. Reach out today!
