Fall Conference Season Is Calling 🍂

Next week, the Ontario Municipal Administrators Association (OMAA) Fall Workshop is heading to Blue Mountain!

From October 7–9, 2026, municipal leaders will gather at the Westin Trillium House Blue Mountain for a few days of educational sessions, keynote speakers, networking, and plenty of opportunities to connect with others in the municipal community.

Cambium will be there! Stop by our booth and say hello to Ian and Terri, who will be representing the Cambium team throughout the event.

We’re looking forward to connecting with municipal leaders, catching up with familiar faces, and talking about how Cambium can support communities through the work we do.

Blue Mountain // October 7–9, 2026

Projects Planned Out Wednesday: Connecting Community and Nature

Thoughtful planning starts with understanding the land. For the proposed Georgina Island Fixed Link, our Natural Sciences team completed detailed terrestrial ecology studies to help inform a safe, permanent connection between Georgina Island First Nation and the mainland.

By studying wetlands, wildlife habitat, and species at risk, our team provided the environmental information needed to support informed design decisions while respecting the surrounding natural environment.

Projects like this show how science and engineering can work together to support stronger, more connected communities.

200 KM, $3,300 Raised, and a Great Cause 🚴

Our very own Tyler Logan and his MS Bike team took on approximately 200 km from Ottawa to Cornwall over two days, and we're excited to share that they raised an incredible $3,300 for MS research!

That’s well beyond their original $2,000 fundraising goal, and it wouldn’t have been possible without everyone who donated, shared, encouraged, and supported Tyler and his team along the way.

The Ottawa MS Bike event also raised an incredible $306,206 for MS research!

A huge congratulations to Tyler and his team for putting in the kilometres and helping make a difference. And a big thank you to everyone who supported their ride, every donation helps fund research, support programs, and the continued fight to end MS.
