June is Aphasia awarness month. Aphasia is a condition that robs you of the ability to communicate. It can affect your ability to speak, write and understand language, both verbal and written. Aphasia typically occurs suddenly after a stroke or a head injury.

In an act of transparency, I can share that I have suddenly and unfortunately been introduced to just how terrible aphasia is and the effects it can have on the people who suffer with it and those who support them.

Language and communication is what we do here at T's Etchings Creative Writing Services. We will be creating a line of products to help families who have been affected by aphasia.

Stay tuned for our "Flash Foward: Push Foward" line of flash cards and communication products to help individuals get their speech and writing skills back.
