I always knew I was meant for more.
Coming to Canada, I did what you’re “supposed” to do. I went to college. I got the training. I built what most people would call a decent life. On paper, everything looked right.
But deep down, something was missing.
Then I became a parent—and everything became clear.
I stopped chasing promotions and recognition that didn’t actually change my life. I realized I didn’t want to spend my best years working for someone else while my children grew up without me fully present.
What I really wanted was freedom.
Time with my kids.
The ability to travel without asking permission.
The freedom to show up for my family back home when they need me.
A traditional 9–5 was never going to give me that.
I was tired of short paychecks, financial anxiety, and having to say no to my kids because of money or time. I wanted to build something of my own—something sustainable, something my children could one day benefit from.
So I made a decision to start an online business.
