Today marks one year since my dad was laid to rest, and I created this song as a way to keep a piece of him alive through music.
My dad would always say, “God a God.” Those simple words carried so much meaning. They were a reminder that no matter what life brought our way, God is still God.
God a God.

So I turned his words into a song,not just a song of grief, but a song of faith, remembrance, and hope. A song to honor the man he was, the love he gave, and the faith he left behind in us.
Papa, one year later, I still miss you deeply. But I choose to believe that you are resting peacefully in Heaven

One Year Without You 🕊️💔

Today marks one year since you left this world, papa and somehow my heart still struggles to believe that you’re really gone.

A whole year has passed, yet there are moments when I still wish I could hear your voice, see your smile, or have just one more conversation with you. I miss you in ways that words could never fully explain.

Losing you changed something inside of me. There are days I’m strong, and there are days when the memories bring tears to my eyes all over again. But through the pain, I’m grateful for the love, memories, lessons, and moments you left behind.

Your words, your laughter, and especially your reminder to “Love one another” will forever live in my heart. That is part of your legacy, papa, and I promise to carry it with me.

I wish heaven had a phone so I could tell you how much I miss you. Until we meet again, know that you are loved, remembered, and deeply missed.
