Experienced Excavator Operator Wanted

AV Little Digger & Hauler Ltd. – Port Alberni, BC

AV Little Digger & Hauler Ltd. is looking for an experienced, professional equipment operator to join our growing team.

We specialize in residential and light commercial excavation projects, including:

* Perimeter drains
* Driveway construction and preparation
* Waterline installation
* Septic system installation
* Retaining and rock walls
* Site preparation
* Concrete preparation and grading
* General excavation and landscaping

Requirements

✔ Minimum 3 years operating excavators and related equipment
✔ Experience working in residential settings around existing homes and services
✔ Ability to read grades and operate using laser levels
✔ Strong understanding of excavation safety and underground utilities
✔ Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
✔ Take pride in producing clean, professional work
✔ Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused

Driver’s Licence Requirements

Must have either:

* Class 1 Licence with Heavy Haul endorsement, or
* Class 5 Licence with Air Brake endorsement

What We’re Looking For

We’re not looking for someone who just moves dirt. We’re looking for an operator who treats every project as if it were their own property, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in leaving a job site looking professional.
