After proudly serving businesses across Metro Vancouver for years as Quarter Cheaper Signs, we’ve made a big decision:
Quarter Cheaper Signs is now CATZILLA SIGNS.
Before anyone worries — nothing else is changing.
We’re still the same local sign company based in Port Coquitlam. We’re still making business signs, vehicle wraps, channel letters, banners, decals, and printing for businesses throughout the Lower Mainland. We’re still focused on fast turnaround, fair pricing, and direct communication with the person actually making your signs.
So why change the name?
The Honest Reason
Over the years we’ve learned something interesting.
Many customers loved our work.
Many customers remembered our orange cat mascot.
Many customers remembered our website.
But surprisingly, many customers had trouble remembering — or even pronouncing — the name “Quarter Cheaper Signs.”
We heard every version imaginable:
“Quarter something Signs…”
“Cheaper Quarter…”
“Quarter Sign Company…”
“The sign company with the cat…”
“You know, the cat guys…”
Eventually we noticed a pattern.
People weren’t remembering us because of the name.
They were remembering us because of the cat.
The Cat Became the Brand
What started as a fun mascot gradually became something much bigger.
The orange cat appeared on our vehicles, marketing materials, social media, website, and promotional products.
Customers started recognizing the cat immediately.
Some people didn’t remember our company name at all, but they remembered:
“The sign shop with the orange cat.”
When a mascot becomes more memorable than the company name itself, that’s usually a sign that the brand has already chosen its own direction.
We finally decided to listen.
Why CATZILLA?
Because it is memorable.
Because it is fun.
Because people can actually remember it after hearing it once.
And because it reflects who we are much better than a traditional corporate name.
The name combines two things we love:
Cats
Making businesses impossible to ignore
Just like a giant movie monster stands out in a city skyline, a great sign should stand out in a busy marketplace.
That’s exactly what we help our customers do.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
But it doesn’t really reflect who we are.
CATZILLA SIGNS is different.

It’s a little playful.

During the transition, you may still see references to Quarter Cheaper Signs in some places. That’s normal while we update everything.
