🚒Vehicle Fire Response

Our department responded to a report of a van fire today. Crews arrived on scene and worked quickly to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading.

Thank you to everyone who gave our crews room to work and kept a safe distance from the scene.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

🔥A reminder: If you encounter a vehicle fire, pull over safely, turn off the vehicle if possible, get everyone out, move a safe distance away, and call 911. Never return to a burning vehicle.

Stay warm safely this winter!
📏 Ensure 1m. (3 ft.) of space around all heat sources – space heater, fireplace, wood stove, etc.
🔌Always plug space heaters directly into a wall outlet, don’t use an extension cord.
✅Get all chimneys and vents inspected by a qualified professional at least once a year.
💤Always turn off space heaters before you leave the room or go to bed.
