I can give you another marketing tip.

I can tell you to update Google, ask for reviews, send an email, make a Reel, work on your SEO and fix that thing on your website you've been ignoring.

But here's the problem...now I've just given you seven more things to do. 😂

Sometimes the issue isn't that you don't know what needs to happen.

You just don't have time to do it.

That's why a big part of what I do is actually DOING the marketing for my clients.

Planning it. Writing it. Building it. Posting it. Updating it. And making sure we're thinking ahead instead of scrambling every week.

If your marketing has become one more thing constantly hanging over your head, send me a message.

Maybe it's time to take some of it off your plate.

Give your website the five-second test.

Open the homepage and ask:
– Is it immediately clear what I do?
– Is it clear who I help?
– Is my location or service area easy to find?
– Is there one obvious next step?

That next step might be:
Book a call.
Request a quote.
Shop now.
Download a guide.
Send a message.

Your website does not need more words just for the sake of having more words. It needs to help people understand your business and move forward.

Open your website and give yourself five seconds. Tell me which part needs work.

If I took over your marketing tomorrow, I wouldn't start by asking, "What should we post on Instagram?"

I'd look at the whole picture.

Can people find you on Google?
Does your website make sense?
Are you getting reviews?
Are you building an email list?
Does your social media actually show people why they should choose you?
And most importantly...is any of it leading people somewhere?

Because you can be doing a LOT of marketing and still have some pretty big gaps.

This is one of the first things I look at when I start working with a business.

If you're not sure where your biggest marketing gap is right now, send me a message. I'll help you figure out where I'd start.

You don’t need more hustle. You need a plan.

I’m gonna hold your hand when I say this:
👉 Posting without a strategy isn’t helping your business grow.
👉 Winging it feels like progress… but it’s usually just survival mode in disguise.
👉 The fix isn’t more content, it’s aligned content that actually supports your goals.

That’s what we map out in a 60-minute session together.
You’ll walk away with a personalized 30-day plan you can run with — or hand off to a VA and be done.

Because you deserve marketing that works for you, not against you.

Can I be honest?

A lot of businesses are putting all of their energy into social media and ignoring the rest of their marketing.

But a strong business presence usually includes:
– a clear website
– Google visibility
– reviews
– email marketing
– consistent content
– and a plan connecting all of it

Social media matters. It just should not be expected to carry the entire business.

If you’re doing plenty of marketing but none of it feels connected, send me a message. Let’s talk about what you’re doing now and where you may need support.

You don't have to do everything.
You don't need to be on every social media platform.
You don't need to post every day.
You don't need to jump on every trend.

And you definitely don't need to spend hours trying to keep up with what everyone else is doing.

The businesses that see steady growth usually aren't doing more marketing than everyone else.

They're doing the right marketing consistently.
They're showing up.
They're asking for reviews.
They're keeping their website up to date.
They're building relationships.
They're sending the occasional email.
They're making it easy for people to find them and take the next step.

Marketing isn't about chasing perfection. It's about building simple habits that support your business over time.

If your marketing feels overwhelming, that's usually a sign that you don't need to work harder—you need a simpler plan.

That's exactly what I help my clients build. 💙

If I could hand every small business owner one marketing checklist, this would be it. ✔️

Not because you need to tackle everything today...

But because these are the pieces that work together to help people find you, trust you, and choose your business.

Think of your marketing like a puzzle:
🌐 Your website tells people who you are.
📍 Your Google Business Profile helps them find you.
⭐ Reviews build trust.
📧 An email list keeps you connected.
📱 Consistent content keeps you visible.
🎨 Clear branding makes you memorable.
👉 Strong calls to action tell people what to do next.
📝 And a strategy ties it all together.

When one piece is missing, the whole system has to work harder.

The good news? You don't have to perfect everything overnight.

Start by identifying the weakest piece of your marketing, improve that, and keep building from there.

Small, consistent improvements almost always beat trying to do everything at once.

💬 Which one of these is your strongest? And which one could use the most attention?

Word-of-mouth hasn't disappeared... it's just moved online. ⭐

Think about the last time you were looking for a new restaurant, contractor, accountant, or hair salon.

There's a good chance you checked the Google reviews before making a decision.

Your customers do the same thing.

Every positive review tells a future customer:
✔️ This business is trustworthy.
✔️ Other people have had a good experience.
✔️ I'm making a safe choice.

That's why I encourage every business owner to make asking for reviews part of their regular process—not just when business is slow or after a big project.

One genuine review at a time builds credibility, strengthens your online presence, and helps more people find your business.

If you haven't asked a happy customer for a Google review lately, consider this your reminder.

It only takes a minute to ask, and it can have a lasting impact.

💬 When was the last time you asked a customer for a Google review?

When was the last time you looked at your Google Business Profile? 👀

For many small businesses, it's one of the first things potential customers see.

The good news? It doesn't take a complete overhaul to make a big difference.

Here are 7 things every Google Business Profile should have:
✔️ A clear, keyword-rich business description
✔️ Accurate services and service areas
✔️ Recent Google reviews
✔️ High-quality photos of your business, team or work
✔️ Regular updates or posts
✔️ Current business hours and contact information
✔️ Frequently asked questions with helpful answers

Think about it, when you're looking for a restaurant, plumber, lawyer or hair salon, what do you check first?
⭐ The Google listing.

Your potential customers are doing exactly the same thing.

A complete, up-to-date profile helps people trust your business, find the information they need quickly, and can even improve your visibility in Google Search and Maps.

📍Take five minutes this week and see how your profile stacks up. You might be surprised by what needs updating.

💬 Which one of these could your Google Business Profile use a little more attention on?

Your website never takes a day off.

It's working while you're sleeping, meeting with clients, on vacation, or busy running your business.

The question is...
Is it working for you?

Your website should do more than look nice. It should help people make a decision.

It should answer questions like:
✔️ What do you do?
✔️ Who do you help?
✔️ Why should someone choose you?
✔️ What's the next step?

If visitors leave your website confused, they probably won't call to ask for clarification—they'll simply move on to the next option.

A few small improvements can make a big difference in turning visitors into customers.

Take two minutes today and look at your website through the eyes of someone who's never been there before.

Would you know exactly what to do next?

If the answer is no, it might be time for a refresh. I'd be happy to help.
