Well, here I am, chiding myself for breaking my own rules about not posting regularly in facebook. Sooo, an update:
- I recently joined Youngtrepreneurs YYC, a biz support group in Calgary, that is helping me feel less alone on this "entrepreneur" ship (bad pun, I know). Why Calgary? My son Josh was a member of the group, and someone had asked for help with a website, so I joined to throw my hat in the ring. Haven't found anything equivalent yet in NS:(
- have gained some major insights about the importance3 of having champions - business peers who believe in you and cheerlead you and help remind you of your strengths.

That's it for now. Will write more often. Might even call once in a while:)

well, I think I earned my seo creds. Just did a google check - Cedarlake Software comes up near the top of results now for "yarmouth ns web design" and "yarmouth ns seo". VERRRRRY encouraging. Yayyyy!

never to be content, I updated the cover page top again ..this time I took the photo elements, and created a dynamic photo, with elements fading in. A bit more impact. I like it!:)

time to post again! redid the home page top photo, a mashup of the original, plus a galaxy, and a saturn-like cutout, faded & feathered in together. Wanted a bit more of a wow factor. The guy in the pic isn't me, but I once had hair that colour, and that plentiful. http://cedarlakesoftware.ca - replaced the facebook cover photo with same thing.

Updating the site with an internal job/time logging tool, plus publicly-viewable beginnings of a portfolio in progress.
