We are currently seeking Certified Millwrights with industrial experience, preferably in the forest products industry. This is NOT a Camp Job, but we can temporarily offer a room in our company apartment, can be discuss more with the owners.
Perform preventative maintenance processes that pertain to optimum mechanical performance of our Facility including, but not limited to:
• Safe Work Practices, Ethics & Standards.
• Welding repairs.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Systems and Diesel engines.
• Repair or replacement of Mechanical Components & Machinery.
• Electrical knowledge.
• Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances, change sprockets, bearings, chains, etc.
• Analytical problem solving and Troubleshooting Mechanical Machinery.
• Maintain mobile heavy-duty equipment used in transportation, forestry, and similar activities.
• Must be comfortable working with delicate electronics as well as heavy, cumbersome mechanical linkages.
• Support and actively manage troubleshooting and preventative maintenance program to maximize equipment availability, reduce unplanned stoppages.
Preferred candidates:
• Red Seal certified
• 5+ years related experience
• Valid Class 1 or Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
Job Type: Full-time
Wage: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
