Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Sensational Signs.

This time of year always brings us back to why we do what we do. Every sign we design, build, and install starts with someone trusting us with their business, their project, or their big idea. That trust is something we never take for granted.

To our clients across Ontario, to our Port Perry neighbours here in Durham Region, and to the team who shows up every day to get the details right: thank you. You make this work meaningful.

Wishing you a long weekend full of good food, good company, and a little extra time with the people who matter most.

Something playful just landed in Whitby.

We had the absolute joy of completing a full signage build for our client at their new Whitby location. This project brought so many of our favourite things together in one place.

Exterior and interior window graphics that turn glass into a bright, brand-forward moment. Interior signage that guides, delights, and reinforces the Jolly Bubble atmosphere throughout the space. And a beautifully executed set of custom LED channel lit letters that give their storefront a warm, welcoming glow that quietly says "come play."

What sets Jolly Bubble apart is the care behind every corner. Vibrant without being overwhelming. Big energy alongside quieter moments. A space that welcomes kids who dive right in, kids who take their time, and the families beside them.

Because a great visit starts long before the first jump.

This is just the beginning of something playful in Whitby. Watch this space.

Feeling so grateful today.

A huge thank you to for the wonderful reel showcasing our team installing the new exterior community art on their building. What a treat to watch our work through your lens.

Community art projects are some of our very favourite things to be part of. They turn buildings into landmarks and streets into stories. Being trusted to bring public art to life right here in our own hometown of Port Perry is a real joy.

Thank you for the beautiful feature and for everything Scugog Arts does to bring more colour, creativity, and community into our neighbourhood.

Setting up today for a very special tomorrow evening in Port Perry.

Our team is on-site right now installing signage for the 11th annual Winding Roads Music Festival, taking place Saturday, September 19 in our own hometown, in support of . This year is extra meaningful because it also marks the 50th anniversary of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Durham, five decades of changing lives right here in our own backyard.

For 11 years running, we have been proud to produce and install the full signage suite for this event. The main stage banner. The 50th anniversary welcome sign and BBBS logo at the entrance. All of the sponsorship signs recognizing the businesses who make this event possible. And the decorative signage that turns the space into a celebration from the moment guests arrive.

There is no cause we believe in more deeply. Mentorship changes lives. Fifty years of it changes generations.

You can learn more about the event and the incredible work of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Durham at https://northdurham.bigbrothersbigsisters.ca/windingroads/.

Congratulations on 50, BBBS of North Durham. Thank you for letting us stand beside you from the very beginning of Winding Roads.

Throwback Thursday to a big one.

Back in 2016 we produced and installed the towering vertical building signage for the Waterworks Sales Centre in downtown Toronto. The kind of project where every element has to land perfectly, from the fabrication to the lift day.

SALES CENTRE at the top, high above the streetscape. WATERWORKS, City Condos, Food Hall, Park anchoring the bottom, telling the whole story of what was coming to the neighbourhood.

We love a good archive dive, and this one is a favourite. A moment in time when a beloved Toronto corner was on the cusp of becoming something new. Signage helping tell that story from day one.

Did you know Toronto has new zoning bylaw sign standards?

We recently completed a new zoning notice sign installation at the Toronto Carpet Factory, along with a companion explainer sign that helps neighbours understand exactly what the notice is and how they can get involved in the planning process.

The has updated the way development notices must be designed and displayed. The change is meant to make notices easier to see, easier to understand, and easier to act on for the communities they impact. It matters for developers navigating the process, and it matters for residents who want a say in what is happening on their street.

From compliant design to careful installation, we handle every step. If you are a developer, planner, or project team working within the city, we can help you meet the new requirements with confidence.

The first signs are in the ground!

We are thrilled to share the completed Coming Soon sign installations at the Milton locations for , the first three of eleven signs we have been trusted to produce and install for their new communities across the region.

Brampton, Georgetown, Erin, and more will follow in the weeks ahead as we work our way through the full rollout.

Every one of these signs is backed by professional engineered drawings and fully permitted through the proper municipal channels. That level of care matters when you are announcing a new community to a neighbourhood. It ensures the sign is safe, code-compliant, and built to look its best from day one right through to move-in day.

Grateful to be part of introducing so many new communities across our region.

Signage that shows up strong and stays flexible.

A brand-new skid sign for Acorn is officially in place along Leslie Street in East Gwillimbury, serving both 18490 and 18508.

Skid signs are one of our favourite solutions to install because they solve real problems. Fully free-standing, easily moved when needed, and permitted for professional street presence. They work beautifully for development sites, phased projects, seasonal properties, and any situation where a business needs high-impact signage that can adapt as the site does.

Weatherproof. Movable. Ready to work from the moment it is placed.

A design upgrade that quietly does it all.

We recently installed architectural window film in Liberty Village, a Toronto property where privacy, design, and clean function all had a role to play.

Architectural film is one of our favourite quiet-hero solutions. It softens sightlines, adds privacy where it is needed most, refreshes existing glass without the disruption of a full replacement, and looks beautifully considered from every angle.

Whether it is a residential building, a retail space, a commercial office, or a mixed-use property, architectural film is an elegant tool that delivers real value for property managers, designers, and business owners alike.

Happy Canada Day from Sensational Signs!

A sign we look forward to hanging every single year is officially up. Our Happy Canada Day sign is proudly displayed at our original location today, just as it has been for so many July firsts before. There is something special about seeing the same red and white go up year after year, in the same town, in the place where so much of our story began.

For over 25 years we have had the joy of helping Canadian businesses tell their stories through signage. This particular sign happens to be one we get to tell our own with.

To our clients, neighbours, friends, and fellow Port Perry businesses, wishing you a beautiful Canada Day.
