The Port Rexton Area Fire Department would like to thank everyone who came out to honor Len's memory over the past few months with the amazing concerts that were held, thanks to all the amazing preformers who made these concerts a hit . All your generous donations to this cause we're donated to your FD. This money will be used to off set the purchase of new helmets and help with our need of updating our communication equipment. I would like to send a huge thank you to Carol Osmond for helping us achieve our goals and in keeping Len's memory very much alive in our community!!
It was a fine evening of song, storytelling, comedy and accordion music on Saturday as we fondly remembered Len and showed our support for our local firefighters. Len would have thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
We raised $1400, bringing the total raised for the Port Rexton and Area Fire Department in Len’s memory to $13,365! This amount will cover the cost of new fire helmets and contribute significantly to the purchase of new and much needed communications equipment.
Thank you to those who came out on Saturday and to all who have donated to the fire department in Len’s memory. A special thanks to the talented performers, the volunteers, the Port Rexton Lions Club for providing the venue, and to those who donated prizes, for making it such a memorable evening. We are truly blessed to live in a community with so much talent and such a strong volunteer spirit.
We extend our sincerest appreciation to our volunteer firefighters who do so much for our community.
Anyone still wishing to donate may send an eTransfer to the Town of Port Rexton using the following email address: [email protected]. Please include a message indicating that the transfer is a donation to the fire department in Len’s memory. If you would like a tax receipt, please email the Town with your mailing address.
THANK YOU ALL! 🚒🙏
