Nice to be with a "few" of the 200+ volunteers from PR Health-Care Auxiliary and highlight the opening of the Economy shop location. What a great group, they raise a lot of money to cover health care needs in our community. PRCF was very pleased to able to support renovations of their newly purchased building with community forest grants. pictured: Greg Hemphill from PRCF with Gaye Culos, new president and Dave Bratseth past president of the auxiliary. PRCF currently has active operations in a number of locations. We need your help to stay safe in the community forest and respect industry safe work requirements. 1) Go to our website: www.prcommunityforest.ca and signup for email alerts about the location of our operations 2) Purchase a road radio to report and monitor vehicle locations on forestry roads, yield to logging trucks 3) Stay away from trails, spurroads, and areas marked as active. We try to limit the area and duration of those closures. There is no excuse for ignoring those signs.

Congrats to the PR Salmon Society for another great Salmon Expo week involving 800 students, parents, and volunteers. Thanks for allowing PR Community Forest to tag onto your event on Saturday, and it was great to see so many people show up on a rainy day. The new building addition looks perfect, and PRCF was happy to support that project with a community forest grant. Photos: anjismithfotos
