Today I was blessed to be able to donate $100 to a person and her children that are in recovery and restart mode as the result of domestic abuse.

I had painted 5 of these paintings and sold at $20 a piece and had the $ received ready for such an opportunity to help someone. Today I got the call and was thrilled to be able to help!!

This is an ongoing campaign, so if you would like to entrust me to help someone again and receive a one of a kind Healing Hurt Hearts painting, just let me know!!

I wish I would have taken (and actually thought I did) more progression photos of this painting…..but I guess I didn’t!! 🤷🏻‍♀️
My variation of a beautiful Yellow Swallowtail Butterfly on our Lilacs a couple of years ago.
8 x 10” (roughly) oil pastel painting on pastel paper.

It is being framed and will be a part of the Year End Art Show from at a week from Thursday and will hang there for the summer!!
