It was a bit of a scorcher on the 2 km walk back to the truck with 30 kilos of rocks. Found several small quartz carbonate veins Ina greenstone outcrop. Was pretty weathered so it took a while to get into fresh rock but when we did it was loaded with pyrite. Then went to Adam pit 150 meters away and beat up some more rock. Real nice specimens. Excited for assays but season is far from finished.

Expansion of A.J. and Dragonfly.
Lots has happened since the last post. 1st pass consultation with the local Indigenous community, by chance meeting up with a professional geologist that came out to the claim and reviewed our work, liked what he saw and will assist as much as allowed.

First trip out checking GBM this spring. GBM is a transformational reverse fault deposit. It's was a former spreading center in the ancient Slide Ocean called the Quesnel Trough. This closed when the Quesnellia Terrane and continental North America collided closing the trough. The collision reversed the trend bringing up greenstone shists and chaotic veins systems across the property.

Possibly listwanite? Some ultramafics in the area. Major metallogenic thrust fault in the vicinity.

Holy frack! Just did a solo drive down the coalmine/bowron cutoff road from highway 16 to the Buckhorn!
You do not want travel it! The road is nothing but piles of riprap 6" or bigger or haul road bridges for kilometers. Once your in there's no turning back!
