Erica Butterfield from our Invasive Plant Management team and Victor Ladipo from our Environmental Services team recently worked together to map and manage invasive knotweed at John Daly Park.

Erica led the herbicide application, while Victor supported the project as the Qualified Environmental Professional and Fisheries Biologist. Their collaboration across technical disciplines showcases our strength in delivering integrated environmental solutions. Great work, Erica and Victor!

October 4-10 is Fire Prevention Week. This year’s theme, “Charge into Fire Safety™: Safe Charging Is a Superpower,” reminds us that our charging habits can play an important role in preventing fires. From the devices we use at home to the equipment we rely on at work, lithium-ion batteries are part of our daily lives.

Some simple habits can help reduce fire risk, such as:
Using the proper charger
Following manufacturer instructions
Watching for signs of damage or overheating
Recycling batteries responsibly

Project Manager I Jenny Davy's photo was selected as this year's winner in the Landscape Category of our annual photo contest.

Each year, employees submit photos captured during the spring and summer seasons. While the competition is always tough, only one photo can take top honors in each category.
