The CL70 cache paid us a visit the other day and wanted us to pass along this message:

"As I write this, Eric Church's 'Over When It's Over' plays softly in the background.

You're probably wondering why you're hearing from me on Tuesday rather than my usual Friday, so I'll cut to the chase: we need to talk.

I've found someone else - or more accurately, someone else has found me and I'm happy now. I love that you tried hard to make me yours, but it wasn't meant to be. It was me, not you.

I will miss you walking by me and thinking about me every day, but I wanted you to know that we're done now and there's no point trying to make this work anymore. It's over.

- The CL70 Cache"

Now that that's out of the way, congratulations to Christof W. (and family) of Carrier Lumber and from PG for cracking The Riddle and uncovering the CL70 cache!

The donation recipients, a walkthrough of The Riddle, and the exact location of the CL70 cache will be revealed next week.

But the celebration doesn't stop there - you've got one more chance to win $700! All you need to do is submit your CL70 Challenge theories, stories, decoded verses of The Riddle, and adventures with us at [email protected]!

Thanks for playing everyone! We hope you had as much fun trying to find the cache as we did making the CL70 Challenge. We hope you also enjoy the fall colours we just updated the site with!

Here's to 70 more years of innovation and quality!

Ok so we know we told you that last week was the last week of giveaways, but our week 5 winner was a no-show, so we've re-drawn the week 5 prize of $700 to Petro-Can! This week 5 / 8 prize was won by Darren C., who will hopefully show up for his free gas and snacks.

Also on the CL70 menu this week are new hints in The Riddle. Hopefully this week's hints will lead our treasure seekers to the right spot!

No new leads next week, but check back in with us on October 8 @ 9:00 am PST if the CL70 cache hasn't been found by then for more clues!

What are you waiting for? Go check it out or sign up @ www.CL70.ca if you haven't already!

This week marks the seventh and final week of prize giveaways for the CL70 Challenge! Thanks for joining us while we celebrated 70 years in business!

The very last draw prize was won by Emma D. from Prince George! Emma will get to enjoy $700 of food and drinks from seven more great Prince George restaurants. We've heard that tequila shots kill COVID... but then again, we're lumber manufacturers, not doctors. Best err on the side of caution though and test this theory out!

One more week means tons more theories.. which we can neither confirm nor deny whether they're valid or not.

No new clues this week, but we've updated The Basics with some pointers and info. More hints in The Riddle drop next week if the CL70 cache is not found by then!

So what are you waiting for? Go check it out or sign up @ www.CL70.ca if you haven't already!

There's now only one week of prize giveaways left in the CL70 Challenge!

Winning the second-last prize was Julie B. from Prince George! Turns out that if you have a contest in Prince George, most winners will be from Prince George.. who knew?

Back by popular demand, next week's prize is $700 to seven more great Prince George restaurants. Date night is about to get a lot cheaper for someone next week, so stay tuned!

This week we heard even more theories of where the CL70 cache is, but so far it's proving very elusive to our cache-seekers.

As promised last week, we've added more clues to The Riddle, so go check it out or sign up @ www.CL70.ca if you haven't already!

After today, there's only two more CL70 Challenge prize giveaways 😢

This week's prize went to Roy D. from Prince George (yes, yes, another PG winner). We hope Roy will be able to get another road trip in before the summer ends, but if not, he'll at least have a full tank of gas for hunting season!

Next week's prize of $700 to Best Buy should make back-to-school sweeter with some new tech to start the year off.

The CL70 cache is still yet to be found, though we've certainly heard some good guesses and theories. With the long weekend coming up, we're not giving out any additional clues this week. Stay tuned next week for more hints!

Today marks just over halfway through the CL70 Challenge prize giveaways!

This week's prize went to Marc H. from Prince George (yes, we know, everyone who has been drawn so far has been from PG). Hopefully Marc likes tools, because he's the new owner of $700 of gift cards to Western Equipment!

There's three weeks of prizes left to give away, including next week's prize of $700 to Petro-Canada. Who doesn't need gas (or snacks if you drive an electric car)?

The CL70 cache is also still out there waiting to be found.

This week we added a couple more clues on the CL70 site to help you get closer to the $49,000. Check out CL70.ca/riddle and CL70.ca/basics to see what's new.

So... what are you waiting for? Sign up today @ www.CL70.ca!
