I finally got around to doing another preserved rabbit foot dome - locally & ethically sourced domestic rabbit foot. This one also has a locally and ethically sourced BC 🦋 (painted lady) and dried straw flowers, with a small jade tower.

A little behind the scenes. This beaver was beetle cleaned and it happened while I was very busy packing up my old house so I never got to get a video of the beetles doing their thing. But I got some of the degreasing and then where I am putting the teeth in ☺️.

Trying to get a bit of tanning done! I have to be extremely mindful of our water usage out at our new place, which means I'll be doing limited tanning (but I have people I can refer you to for tanning or, I will be sending capes/hides away for tanning). I am just trying to finish a few projects and empty out my freezers before hunting season. Here is a rabbit I was fleshing.

Since hunting season is gearing up. I figured I would showcase some past favorites! Some stunning whitetail bucks, big ol' bear, canadian goose, pine marten and a grouse mount.
