▪️Have your chimney or wood stove cleaned and inspected.
▪️Burn only dry, seasoned wood.
▪️Keep flammable items at least one metre away from heat sources.
▪️Test your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.

A little prevention goes a long way in reducing the risk of chimney fires, smoke hazards, and carbon monoxide poisoning.
