Renforth Construction Limited is seeking a qualified heavy equipment operator for spring, summer, and fall employment. Excavator experience is the primary requirement, with dozer and other heavy equipment experience being secondary. Our area of work is in Saint John, Quispamsis, and Rothesay during spring, summer, and fall seasons with a primary focus on residential excavation. The average tenure of our employees is 15+ years. We pride ourselves on being a place people enjoy working and coming back to year after year. This position has opened due to an employee retirement.
Employment breakdown as follows:
May (could be sooner depending on weather) – December
8 AM - 5 PM, Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week.
Paid weekly, paid lunch and breaks
Past experience is an asset
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Safely operate machinery on site with a particular observance of personnel safety.
We mainly focus on residential excavation and work. This includes foundations, roadways, sewer installation, water line installation, etc. Past experience in these areas is considered an asset.
Requirements:
Heavy equipment experience with a focus on excavation and dirt work. We will
require references and will follow up with these references.
Safe, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and follow instruction. We may not always do things exactly how you think they should be done, however we are looking for a team player – not an owner-operator.
Minimum Class 5 driver’s license. While not a requirement, applicants with a class 1E or 3E driver’s license would be considered an additional asset.
