Dear friends from near and far,

Day by day, work continues at the Woodcarver Park in Radium Hot Springs. With dedication, passion and great attention to detail, a very special place is taking shape – a park that will be much more than simply a beautiful place to visit.

The Woodcarver Park will be a lasting tribute to the world-renowned woodcarver Rolf Heer and his extraordinary artistic legacy. His passion for wood, his creativity and his unique ability to bring stories to life through his carvings have inspired and touched many people.

Now, a place is being created where this story can continue to live on. A place to discover, admire, remember and enjoy – a place for young and old alike.

We are all looking forward to seeing this beautiful park come to life and to sharing this very special place with family, friends and visitors from near and far.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone whose hard work, support and dedication are helping to make this dream a reality.

The photographs accompanying this post were taken by Margaret Dalton.
They offer a glimpse into the ongoing work and the creation of the Woodcarver Park.

We look forward to everything that is taking shape here – and to many wonderful memories and encounters in this special park.

A piece of history. A piece of art. A place for everyone.

A photo can capture the faces, but the people who were there hold the stories. Were you part of this night? Tell us what you remember.

"Thank you for the amazing donation at the fundraiser night. The people pictured donated the sculpture to the museum in Invermere.
Thank you 🙏 Woodcarver Rolf"
