We are proud to congratulate Ashley Moncrief on being named the recipient of this year’s Trail Blazer Award at the Central Canada Resource Expo (CenCan) on September 8th in Thunder Bay. Ashley is the Environmental Manager at Great Bear, leading the team through environmental permitting, compliances, monitoring and management of all aspects of the Project. Her contributions to the Project are immeasurable. We are proud to have her as a part of the Great Bear team!

The Trail Blazer Award recognizes women in the mining industry who are making meaningful contributions to the sector and inspiring others to explore careers in mining. We might be biased, but we cannot think of anyone more deserving! Through her work, Ashley brings passion and dedication to support responsible mining and help advance the future of our project and the mining industry in Northwestern Ontario.

What a weekend for the Great Bear team! ⛳⚾

Our team had a busy few days getting out, having some fun and showing off a little friendly competition at the Red Lake Miners Golf Tournament and the First Annual Inter-Mine Softball Tournament.

It was a great opportunity to spend time together, connect with others in our community and enjoy two fantastic events.
