I'm going to climb Mount Everest 🏔 ... well, not really! In February, I challenged myself to climb 400 stairs (20 floors) after every workout (in my office). This continued into March and now into April and May. Once I passed 10k, I wondered what it would take to climb Everest but equivalent in stairs! The answer is 58,070 steps! 😅 Now into May, I have passed 20k and questioning my commitment.
When people ask how I stay motivated at the gym alone, I do stuff like this! Mini internal challenges that keep me motivated to see how far I can push myself. The older I get, the more I love working out. You can call bu****it all you want, but when I see my 71 year old Mother crush workouts that are just as hard for her, as they are for a 20 somethings.....yes, I love working out
Also, not to mention the drastic mood adjustment it gives me! Find something that helps support your mental health!
So, 4 months deep, let's see how long it takes me to reach the summit! 🏔🤮
