Want to learn more about Ruby-throated Hummingbirds in Saskatchewan? Well, you should come to Jared Clarke's presentation on Tuesday this week (Sept 21) with the Regina Public Library! It's at 7 pm on Zoom.
He will share some hummingbird banding stories and results, talk about the 7 hummingbird nests he found in my yard this summer and more! Bring your questions about hummingbirds!

Did you know you can recycle your plastic and metal caps as well as corks at any SARCAN? It's easy! Read on to learn more

Cap off your visit to SARCAN by... recycling your bottle caps!

All SARCAN depots collect bottle caps from any beverage container you bring back to SARCAN, including plastic caps, metal caps, and corks! To recycle caps at SARCAN:

♻️ Remove your caps before visiting SARCAN
♻️ Place caps in a separate bag
♻️️ Hand the bag of caps over to a SARCAN Recycler on your next visit

No peer pressure, but everyone's doing it! Would you believe that last year alone we collected and recycled 18,000 lbs of bottle caps. That's about 4,000,000 bottle caps brought in to SARCAN!
