Over 20 years of experience walking alongside people facing various life challenges. Life experiences can impact us in unexpected ways. Counseling can help in processing experiences that have left an unwelcome impact on your emotions and day to day functioning. Kim has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety , struggling to manage stress, new parents during the postpartu

m period as well as supporting families who have experienced perinatal loss and/or infertility. Kim has both lived and professional experience in the area of ADHD, as well as complex family dynamics. Kim's graduate research focused on compassion fatigue, the unique experience of burnout by those in helping professions. Kim views her role as a counselor as someone to offer guidance; identifying goals that will help you achieve the changes you feel will benefit your life and relationships. If faith is a part of your journey, Christian faith principals can be incorporated. Previous clients have described Kim’s approach as down to earth, compassionate and practical. We will tackle whatever challenges you feel are the most important that will have the most positive impact on your day to day life. Kim is empathetic and non-judgmental with a strong belief the bests views come after the hardest climb.

I have this book at the office and appreciate finding a few minutes to read a little something encouraging. Sometimes we only have time for small deposits to our wellness but every deposit will help us manage life’s ups and downs.

Hi my name is Kim! I am a registered social worker offering both in person and virtual counselling based in Regina. I have over 20 years of experience walking alongside people as they negotiate life’s challenges. I have a wide range of scheduling options.

If you’re curious but unsure, I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation so we can talk about what you hope counseling can help with. You don’t have to commit forever—just long enough to see whether it feels useful for you.

I will continue to repeat myself: Self-Care is not Selfish! Life can be full of responsibilities and demands making it easy to neglect our own wellbeing at times. Building a consistent practice of pausing to tune into self and make even a small deposit into our own wellbeing provides the fuel we need to continue tending to life’s responsibilities. Sometimes counselling can be a first step in building this practice. I offer a range of availability and would love to help you on your wellness journey! [email protected]

You owe it to yourself. 🤍

This is a fun encouraging graphic regarding the seasons of change!

This is a fun encouraging graphic regarding the seasons of change!

January doesn’t ask you to rush.
It doesn’t demand answers or big decisions right away.
It gives you space to breathe, reset, and take things as they come.

Be kind to who you are becoming. Growth isn’t always obvious, it often shows up in small moments, in steady effort, in choices no one else sees. Even the coldest days hold small joys if you pause long enough to notice them.
A warm drink.
A deep breath.
A moment that reminds you you’re still here, still moving forward.

If your energy feels low, that doesn’t mean you’re behind. Rest is part of the cycle, not a failure.
So is patience.
So is allowing yourself to move at a pace that feels sustainable.

Not everything needs a decision right now.
Some things become clear with time, and that’s enough for today.
Each day is a fresh start to learn, to grow, and to treat yourself with more understanding than before.

As this new month unfolds, let go of what feels heavy. You don’t have to carry last year with you.
You’re allowed to begin again, in your own way.

Save this for later ❤️

I really appreciate this graphic. We often grieve a missed opportunity or unwanted change because we are firmly convinced that we missed out on something wonderful. The truth is we never know “what if” or what was behind the closed door.

A closed door might lead you to where you’re meant to be… 🚪✨
