Today, I officially announce the permanent closure of Inspired Imaginations Preschool.
This post has been a LONG time coming… I just wasn’t quite sure how to begin, when it is actually the end.
Making the extremely difficult decision to close preschool and take a step forward into a new journey was not taken lightly. It came from many sleepless nights and tears… oh, SSOOOO many tears!
My motivation has always been, “Follow your passions, it will lead to your purpose.” I know my purpose is to make a difference in the field of Early Childhood Education. And because of that, I want to say my career has been ever changing, but I think a better word for it would be evolving. I am truly lucky that I continue to learn and grow in a field I am SO passionate about, and that life has continued to provide opportunities that ignite that flame inside of me.
I think all I can truly say at this point is, THANK YOU!!!
Thank you to the many families that chose me as their child’s first teacher, and for trusting me to teach and guide your children during their earliest, most important, years. Thank you for showing up with sibling after sibling, and for spreading the word to your family and friends.
Thank you to my MANY preschool friends that made these years SO special, purposeful, and meaningful! FOREVER one of MY kids, holding a special place in my heart 🤍🩷!!!!
Thank you to the followers who, although didn’t have little ones of their own, continued to enjoy the excitement and purpose of our preschool journey by following along through posts (and planning your retirement around when you could get your grandchildren to me 🥹.)
Thank you for the connections I have made with other educators, who felt inspired and found purpose in all that I had shared.
Thank you ALL for allowing me to follow my passions and my dreams to do what I love, each and every day!!!!!
I was told that when it’s hard to leave something, you know that it meant something to you. How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye, SO DAMN HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!
My next chapter has began, and I am jumping in with two feet. I have no idea where I will continue to go, but I know that I am lucky and grateful to be where I am.
You will now find me over at the Regina Early Years Family Resource Centre - Airport Location (2550 Sandra Schmirler Way) as the Program Designer. Please stop by!!! If I’m not out on the floor, please knock on my office door (between September-June) - I love any excuse to come out, play, and visit 😉🩷!
And finally, please don’t go too far, this page will be transforming to evolve and grow with me, and my profession. Stay tuned!!!!
With all of that, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to everyone that has believed in me, and been a part of my journey. Every child, every family, every person that I have been lucky to work with/alongside over the years has left a HUGE and lasting impact on myself as a person, as an educator, and most importantly, in my heart.
