For 5 years, I helped someone else start and build their company from the ground up.

I put my blood, sweat and tears into that business. I learned so much, grew so much, and I’m genuinely grateful for the experience.

But eventually, I had a realization…

I was helping build someone else’s future—not my own.

Then I became a mom, and my vision for the future changed.

What mattered most to me wasn’t just climbing the career ladder or working more hours. I wanted to be present for my kids while also creating something that could contribute to our family’s future.

I realized I didn’t want to choose between being a mom and building something for myself.

So I started looking for another option—something I could build online, in the pockets of time that actually fit around family life.

And that’s what led me to what I’m doing today.

I’m still learning. I’m still building. And I’m definitely outside my comfort zone some days 😂

But this time, I’m building something of my own.

Something that gives me the opportunity to create an additional income stream while still being the mom I want to be. 💜

If you’re a mom who has ever thought, “I want to build something for myself too, but I don’t want to miss out on my kids,” I see you.

There may be another option. 💜

Mom life is hard. ❤️

I wasn’t looking to add a second job.
I wasn’t looking to spend more time away from my kids.
And I definitely wasn’t looking to be glued to my phone all day.

I just wanted a little more financial wiggle room.

Something I could build in the pockets of time I already had—during nap time, after bedtime, or whenever life with two little ones allowed.

Because I don’t believe being a good mom means putting your own goals and future on hold.

I want to be present for my kids and build something for myself.

For me, it’s about creating another income stream that can fit around my family—not making my family fit around another job.

If you’ve been thinking, “I just wish there was another option,” maybe it’s worth giving yourself permission to see what’s possible. 💜

Just because I’m a mom doesn’t mean I can’t build something for myself, too. 💜

I don’t have to choose between being a good mom and building a future I’m proud of.

I can be present for the little moments, show up for my family, and work toward something that gives me more options, flexibility and financial breathing room.

Motherhood is a huge part of who I am—but it doesn’t have to be the only part of me.

I’m allowed to have dreams, goals and ambitions of my own, too. ✨

And maybe you are, too. 💜

I help other moms build an additional income stream online. I’m partnered with a Canadian platform that provides the tools, training, systems and mentorship to help you get started.

My role is attraction marketing — basically, I create content and connect with people who are looking for more financial flexibility.

For me, it’s really about showing moms that there may be another option when it comes to how they earn an income and what they want their life to look like — something that can fit around their family, rather than their family having to fit around work.

Yesterday we talked about the investment.

Today, let’s talk about how it actually works. 👇

You’re starting an online franchise-style business, which means you don’t have the same overhead costs you would with a traditional brick-and-mortar business.

Instead, you get what I like to call a “business in a box.” 📦

That includes things like:
✨ Your website
✨ Sales funnels
✨ Email campaigns
✨ Training and resources
✨ Mentorship and support
✨ The systems and tools to help you get started

You don’t have to build everything from scratch.

But here’s the important part: the business still requires effort. This isn’t a get-rich-quick opportunity, and no one can guarantee your results.

If you’re coachable, willing to learn, ready to step outside your comfort zone, and willing to put in the work to build something of your own, this could be an amazing opportunity to explore. 💜

You don’t have to know everything starting out.

You just have to be willing to learn.

“Is there an investment to starting an online business?”

Absolutely. ❤️

There is an investment to starting any business, and an online business is no different.

If you’re looking at starting a business, I think it’s important to be realistic about that from the beginning.

There is an investment.

But I also think it’s important to look at what you’re investing in, what’s included, and whether it makes sense for you and your goals.

If someone is offering you an opportunity and telling you there is absolutely ZERO investment required, I’d be skeptical.

Starting a business takes something from you.

Sometimes it’s money.
Sometimes it’s time.
Usually, it’s both.

For me, I wanted something that gave me the opportunity to build something of my own without the massive overhead that comes with many traditional businesses.

There are different options for different budgets, and financing options are available if needed.

Of course, this isn’t a get-rich-quick opportunity, and there are no guarantees. Like any business, it takes time, effort and consistency.

But I believe that if you’re willing to invest in yourself, learn, put in the work and give yourself the opportunity to see what’s possible…

It can be worth taking that first step. 💜

What if you gave yourself permission to see what might be possible?

Not to have it all figured out.

Not to know exactly how it’s going to work.

Not to be confident enough, experienced enough, or “ready.”

Just… what if you gave yourself permission to try?

For so long, I think a lot of us moms put ourselves at the bottom of the list.

We take care of the kids.
We take care of the house.
We work.
We pay the bills.
We make sure everyone else has what they need.

And somewhere along the way, we stop asking ourselves:

“What do I want?”

I started this business because I wanted to see if there was another option for me.

A way to work toward more financial breathing room.
A way to build something that was mine.
A way to have more flexibility while still being the mom I want to be.

Did I know exactly where it would take me?

No.

Did I have doubts?

Absolutely.

But I decided that not knowing didn't have to mean not trying.

And maybe that's where you are too.

Maybe you're curious.
Maybe you're scared.
Maybe you're thinking, “Could I actually do something like this?”

You don't have to have the answers today.

Sometimes you just have to give yourself permission to ask:

“What if this could actually be possible for me?” 💜

Because you’ll never know what’s on the other side of that question if you never give yourself the chance to find out.

Sometimes as moms, we need a reminder that we’re allowed to put ourselves first sometimes. ❤️

We’re allowed to do something for us.

We spend so much of our time taking care of everyone else — making sure the kids are fed, the house is somewhat together, everyone has what they need… and somewhere along the way, it can be easy to forget about ourselves.

I have built this business because I wanted something that was mine.

Something I could work on in the small pockets of time I actually have. Something that could give me the opportunity to contribute financially while still being the mom I want to be.

And honestly? I’m proud of myself for taking that step.

Because wanting more for myself doesn’t make me a selfish mom.

Wanting financial breathing room doesn’t mean I love my kids any less.

And doing something for myself doesn’t mean I’m putting my family second.

It means I’m showing my kids that Mom matters too. ❤️

If you’ve been feeling that little pull to do something for you, maybe this is your reminder that you’re allowed to explore what’s possible.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to take the first step.

Ever have one of those days where you swear you’d forget your own head if it wasn’t attached?! 😂

Well… it’s been one of those weeks over here for sure. 🤦‍♀️

Between the kids, work, the house, and all the little things that somehow need to get done every single day, sometimes things just fall through the cracks.

And you know what? That’s okay. ❤️

The laundry can wait. The dishes can wait. That thing I completely forgot about? Well… hopefully I remember it eventually. 😂

As long as everyone is happy, healthy, and safe, then I’m calling it a win.

Because sometimes “keeping it together” looks a lot more like barely keeping it together — and that’s okay too. 🫶🏻

Anyone else having one of those weeks? 😂
