We often get asked why a regular tune-up of a sewing machine is needed. Here is an example of a more modern electronic machine that came in recently. All the lint and dust will collect deep in the machine and can cause serious damage especially to the electronics. Lint on the electronic boards acts like an insulation and will cause the board to heat up and burn out. So please bring in your machine so we can keep it running like it should! 😀

People always ask what we do when it comes to our tune-up service on machines.

We take the covers off and completely clean the inside of the machine. We also oil and lubricate all moving parts to insure your machine is running smooth.

Worked on a serger that came in with a loud knocking sound at high speed. It also was not stitching at all. Turns out, the upper looper arm was loose and had to be adjusted to fix both issues. Watch the before and after videos to hear the noticeable difference in sound. Running smooth now! 😊

I’m often asked what a tuneup entails.

Basically we take the covers off your machine and do a deep clean of your machine removing any old grease that has hardened. We remove all the lint and dust that accumulated over time. Then we lubricate every moving connection with high grade sewing machine oil and synthetic Teflon grease to protect the plastic gears.

We treat all your machines with care to keep them running for years to come.
