Here’s a fix we just did that brought a vintage machine back to life. It came in almost seized and I got it running like new again. The first video is the machine trying to move at full power. The second video was the after result of our fix. Night and day!

We often get asked why a regular tune-up of a sewing machine is needed. Here is an example of a more modern electronic machine that came in recently. All the lint and dust will collect deep in the machine and can cause serious damage especially to the electronics. Lint on the electronic boards acts like an insulation and will cause the board to heat up and burn out. So please bring in your machine so we can keep it running like it should! 😀
Look how clean that machine looks now! 😉

People always ask what we do when it comes to our tune-up service on machines.

We take the covers off and completely clean the inside of the machine. We also oil and lubricate all moving parts to insure your machine is running smooth.

Here are some examples from a serger we just cleaned recently.

Worked on a serger that came in with a loud knocking sound at high speed. It also was not stitching at all. Turns out, the upper looper arm was loose and had to be adjusted to fix both issues. Watch the before and after videos to hear the noticeable difference in sound. Running smooth now! 😊

This is what old grease can look like overtime. Your machine needs to work much harder to turn those gummy gears. We clean them all out and make them work smoothly again. 😊
