A reminder to all boating traffic anywhere there is fishing activity. It is the law to respect the rules of the road when navigating waters where there are commercial vessels engaged in fishing activity such as our lobster boats, scallop drags and ground fish weirs. For all boater's safety as well as the fishing crews, please give way to these vessels and equipment.

The local fishing community recognizes that most boaters adhere to these laws and ask that all boaters pay attention when sharing our waterways. Thank you and safe boating!

Wishing a safe and bountiful season to all fishers on the upcoming scallop and gaspereau fisheries.

BE ADVISED
CONSTRUCTION CREWS HAVE RESUMED THEIR WORK ON THE WHARF. WHEEL GUARDS HAVE BEEN TEMPORARILY REMOVED TO BE GALVANIZED.

IN THE MEANTIME, TEMPORARY BARRICADES HAVE BEEN PUT IN PLACE TO KEEP ALL TRAFFIC AWAY FROM THE OUTER EDGE ALONG THE NEW WORK AREA BEHIND THE GAZEBO.

VESSEL OWNERS WITHIN THAT AREA ARE ASKED TO EXCERCISE CAUTION WHEN ACCESSING THEIR VESSELS. MOVING THEIR VESSELS OUTSIDE OF THAT IMMEDIATE AREA WOULD BE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

RC SEAFOOD CREWS ARE WORKING THERE AS USUAL FOR THE DURATION OF THE ROCK CRAB SEASON. 🦀

ALL OTHER VISITORS SHOULD PARK NEAR THE GAZEBO AND WALK IN IF NECESSARY.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR COOPERATION.

Today we honour and celebrate Elsipogtog Day 🪶.
