Feeling like getting out but don’t have a place you want to go to? Friendships changing? Are you changing? Is the comfort of your house reeling you in every Friday night? We’ve all been there.

The truth is we really do need to get out once in a while. It’s good for our health and wellbeing at any age - no matter how you look at it. Having a supportive group around us, especially as we’re getting older, helps us through the challenging times and celebrates us during the good times.

If you’re ready for it, we’ve got a place for you. We’re creating Neighbourhood Networks throughout Richmond to give you a regular place to hang out, meet new people, socialize, and have those belly laughs again. Each time you join a Neighbourhood Networks event, you’ll have the amazing support of your peers, neighbours, local service providers and aging experts whenever you need it.

Community is not just good for the soul. It is genuinely good for your health.

We’re here for you throughout your Aging journey.

We’re here when things are great, but also when things get challenging. As we get older it can be easy to focus only on what’s getting harder and difficult to do, and on the things you used to do, that you can no longer do in the same way.

Yes, that is part of your aging journey, but we’re here to help and support you through it. We’re also here to make sure you still stay happy, healthy and laughing throughout it.

We’re building welcoming and fun pop-up social spaces for people to meet and connect with others of all ages and stages - right in their own neighborhood.

For those who need it, there’s always access to aging expertise at every event. We will also have service providers and health professionals hand picked to match our event theme ready to answer any questions you have. A perfect way to keep happy, healthy and thriving at every stage along your aging journey…and have fun!! 🥳🎉

Who says aging can’t be fun? 💃🕺🥳🎉

We’re looking for individuals who want to start living the best years of their life.

We are creating spaces for older adults to hang out, have fun and connect with others in their community.

In addition to super fun and engaging activities, these sessions will give you opportunities to learn about valuable aging resources and ways to manage and navigate anything along your Aging journey. Each session you’ll get access to Aging experts, local businesses owners, and service providers.

Each location will look a little different, but the goal stays the same - to create fun and welcoming spaces for older adults to go to on a regular basis.

The fun starts on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 5:30-8:00pm at the Army and Navy and Steveston Village.
