WINNIPEG CLASS 1 DRIVERS - TRAPPERS IS HIRING

Trappers Transport is hiring experienced Class 1 drivers for a dedicated aggregate run between Winnipeg, MB and Minaki, ON.

Projected $100,000+ annual compensation
Approximately 600 miles per day
Monday - Friday | Weekends off
Late-model equipment
$0.50/mile + $20 picks/drops
Overtime + safety bonus + vacation pay
Benefits available

Side dump and Super B experience preferred. Experienced end dump/aggregate drivers may also be considered, with side dump training available for the right driver.

"To lose patience is to lose the battle." ā€“ Mahatma Gandhi

This morning, I encountered an applicant who lacked the qualifications for a role we are hiring for. When I responded with kindness and transparency about why they weren't a fit, their response was rude and unprofessional. It was a moment that tested my patience.

However, this quote reminded me of the power of composure. Patience isnā€™t just about enduringā€”itā€™s about choosing how we respond. While itā€™s never easy to deal with negativity, staying kind and professional is a victory in itself.

This experience reinforced a key lesson: how we handle rejection or feedback says a lot about our character. A respectful dialogue can open doors down the line, even if todayā€™s opportunity isnā€™t the right fit.

To all job seekers: approach every interaction with grace. Every "no" is an opportunity to learn, grow, and prepare for your "yes."
