Here is an updated description of my 5 OUTDOOR PROGRAMS for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

ALL MY NATURE PLAY PROGRAMS ARE CREATED AND DESIGNED FOR SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN (5-12).
🌲AFTER SCHOOL ADVENTURERS🌲
-After a long day at school, After School Adventurers provides children with the time to regulate their nervous system by directing their own play in the wilderness. They can build a fort, relax in the hammocks or swing until their heart’s content.
-Mondays to Fridays, after school from 2:30-5:00.
-Snacks provided and eaten outdoors when weather permits.
-Open full days (7:30-5:00) when school is closed. Children bring their own snacks and lunches.
-Extra clothes can be left on site.
-Our goal is to be outside as long as possible in all types of weather.

🌲WEEKEND WILDLINGS🌲
-Saturday mornings for 5 weeks.
-Drop Off is between 8:30-8:45
-Pick Up is between 11:30-11:45

-Most programming designed for children these days is highly structured, leaving children little time to think for themselves. Acorn to Oak follows a different path. Our programs, like Weekend Wildlings, provides ample time for children to exercise their imagination, take risks, confront challenges, and experience free play and they do it all in the great outdoors!
🌲FOREST FRIENDS🌲
This program is designed for homeschooling families with children between the ages of 5 and 12.
I am offering this on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings this fall for 6 weeks.
-Drop Off is between 8:30-8:45
-Pick Up is between 11:30-11:45
Children will spend 3 hours outdoors in all weather directing their own PLAY!

🌲MAJESTIC WILDERNESS🌲
(March Break Camp)
This coming March I will be offering a winter camp again over March Break called Majestic Wilderness Camp. (March 1-5, 2027)
It will be Monday to Friday, 8:00-4:00. The total cost will include warm drinks and afternoon snacks cooked over the campfire and hopefully homemade ice cream.
Our morning meeting will be at 8:30 where the children decide how we spend our day and our afternoon meeting will be at 3:45.
There will be sliding, fort building, creek exploration, snow sculptures, and lots and lots of self-directed PLAY.
If there happens to be a snowstorm and I lose power, families will be refunded for that day.

(Summer Camp)
-Monday to Friday 8:00-4:00
-Do you remember when the summer seemed to last forever? When you were outside all hours of the day and went inside only to eat lunch or supper and then were quickly back outside again to play? This is what Acorn to Oak Summer Camp is all about.
