🟠 FUN FACT FRIDAY: THE ORIGIN OF XACT

In 2007, Kordell hung up his stinger after years of welding away for “24 and f* all,” ready to be closer to home with the family!

That year, Kordell and Amanda bought Ray’s Pressure Switch Services from Ray Walker. It came with two trucks, one run by Kordell and one by a contractor, testing prescos on pumpjacks from the Saskatchewan border to west of Rocky. Amanda handled the books and pulled on her coveralls whenever a sour well required two people.

By 2012 they’d renamed it Xact Pressure Services and had five full-time trucks on the road. So much for slowing down! In 2014 when the industry took a dip, they blindly bought a pressure truck. How hard could it be?! 😂That detour changed everything.

👇 YOUR TURN! Remember when Xact was checking prescos? Tell us what company you worked for and what area you covered!

There’s nothing quite like the view from the road. 🌅

One of our drivers captured this incredible sunset while heading down the road in Central Alberta.

Long days, winding roads, and views like this are all part of the job. We’re proud of the people behind the wheel who keep things moving, wherever the road takes them.

Thanks to our drivers for capturing the moments along the way.
