This past Monday night, the ladies got together for a night laughter, fun and some friendly competition while bowling.

The butterfly in the sketch looks weightless,
as if it could lift from the paper at any moment.
Its wings are shaded in quiet gray,
delicate but steady.

That’s how this loss feels—
not loud, not chaotic.

Like breath I don’t notice anymore.

At first, the days were heavy.

I read these words like a reminder
written by someone who learned the cost
Love is not something to postpone
or save for later moments

I hold people closer now
not tightly, just intentionally
because I know how suddenly
space can become permanent

Missing lives in my body quietly
not sharp, not loud, just constant
It shows up in moments of stillness
when nothing distracts me from truth
