FB Personal Fall Protection Training Instruction & Training Personal Fall Protection Systems for Construction $200 a person for an 8.5 hour course. We Provide Lunch as well. Thats It.

WorkSafe BC set out the regulations for Occupational Health and Safety in the Province of British Columbia. The legal requirement under the law to use fall protection are illustrated in the regulations this way:

11.2 Obligation to use fall protection

(1) Unless elsewhere provided for in this Regulation, an employer must ensure that a fall protection system is used when work is being done at a

place

(a) from which a fall of 3 m (10 ft) or more may occur, or

(b) where a fall from a height of less than 3 m involves a risk of injury greater than the risk of injury from the impact on a flat surface

The British Columbia Construction Safety Alliance (BCCSA) is a non-profit safety entity under WorkSafe BC, funded by industry and working for industry! The BCCSA is a organization serving construction sector 72 General Construction, and has set forth the criteria that a Personal Fall Protection System Training Program must meet. Under their curriculum requirements 9 direct sections of instruction are listed. FB Personal Fall Protection Training under the company FreeBird Safety Services trains workers in 17 topic points over a 8.5 instructional day. Students successfully completing this Personal Fall Protection System (PFPS) Training program will be able to:

Workers 3 Basic Rights under the Laws of Canada and the Province of British Columbia. Understand and Articulate the Legislative Requirements for using Fall Protection under the WorkSafe BC Regulations. Explain the Hierarchy of Fall Protection

Conduct Assessments and Formulate Controls of Fall Hazards

Describe a Generic Fall Protection Systems

List the Basic Requirements of an effective Site-Specific Fall Protection Plan

Integrate a Fall Protection Plan into an existing Health and Safety Management System

Explain the differences between an Active and Passive Fall Protection systems

Describe the differences between Fall Arrest and Fall (travel) Restraint Systems

Explain and Calculate the Fall Clearances for a worker wearing Fall Protection

Learn how to Inspect, Clean and Store their Personal Fall Protection Harness, Lanyard and other related gear

Describe Ladder Safety Requirements

Understand Suspension Trauma

Conduct a Practical Exercise of a Written Site Specific Fall Protection Plan

Describe a Rescue Procedure, How to Formula One and the Need for it prior to work. How to fill out the Related Documentation

Conduct a Practical Exercise of Donning a Harness (to put on) Correctly and feel the Affects of Being Suspended off the ground. There are a lot of other training facilities instructing Personal Fall Protection. However only a few come close to the content delivered here at FB Personal Fall Protection Training, and none can meet our pricing and feed you lunch. We BBQ fo0r our students at lunch time. We are not here to get rich for charging high prices for training. Our motivation is YOUR SAFETY.
