Collaborating again with my dear friend and colleague, Dr. Liisa Timonen from Joensuu, Finland has come full-circle, as she is one of 5 international experts who will be joining Karen Strang and Melanie McVeety from “EduCulture” for our 3-part webspiration series occurring from July 14 – Aug 10, 2021.
Her topic for this event is: Interculturally Competent – what does it really mean in the changing world of internationalisation?
Dr. Timonen leads internationalisation, partnerships and global education services at Karelia University of Applied Sciences in Finland. She contributes extensively into the international research, development and innovation project design and leadership. Liisa has vast research expertise in exploring international higher education discussing co-creation of competences, transcultural learning and teaching, transversal competences and co-creative design processes, and currently serves on national boards and regional committees.
We thank the Canadian Bureau for International Education for hosting this 3-part Webspiration series called “NOW WHAT? Activate your vision to move internationalization forward in Canada.”
