Purchasing a monument:
Choosing a monument for a loved one can be difficult and emotional decision. Taking in all of the information about monuments and their production can prove to be overwhelming. At Peace Country Memorials, we know how important it is that you make an informed decision so the monument for your loved one is a true representation of their life that will stand the test of time. By outlining our processes, we hope to make this as streamlined as possible for you and your loved ones. Our trained sales associates can help you navigate the world of monuments and provide information and quotes as needed at our office in Rycroft, over the phone or email, or by visiting one of our affiliated funeral homes.
At this point, our main focus is choosing the monument. Our sales team will request some basic information to start such as: Monument style, size and color; if you would like to include photographs, designs or vases; any wording you wish to see on the monument; whether we are laser etching or sandblasting; and the cemetery name and plot location. If you are unsure of any of these details, our sales associates can assist you in finding the answers.
Please note each cemetery will have bylaws which may restrict the size and shape of the monument. If you are unsure of local regulations, please contact our office as we have access to most of this information.
To start the process, a purchase agreement will be created, outlining all of the details about the monument. This order will be created through our online system Stonespot. The purchase agreement is then sent through Dropbox for E-signature. All communication following the creation of the purchase agreement will be made through Stonespot. If these systems don't work for you, we can communicate through other avenues such as phone calls, emails and documents in the mail.
Before moving to the layout process, we require a signed purchase agreement and a minimum deposit of 50% (if ordered directly from our office). Full payment is due after a layout has been approved for production. Orders that are initiated from a funeral home require full payment after the purchase agreement has been signed.
